Are the rotorpro rotors the exact same rotors as these stoptech rotors:

I have the rotorpro rotors and need a set of rear rotors, so i'm looking around and I see what looks to be identical. I know that rotorpros does not make their own rotors, they are made by Centric Parts. I also know that stoptech is the high end brand name for centric parts (so i've heard). Are rotorpros and stoptech selling the same exact rotors? (There is a price difference between the rotorpro rotors and those stoptech rotors above)

Centric actuallyhas 2 lines of rotors, Premium and Economy. When you see Centric rotors for low prices on Ebay and other sites, they are ususally the economy rotors. We only use the premium blanks which are as good as or better than anything else out there and slot or drill them to our spec. The Centric economy rotors are still good for what they are, but for our customers who drive more aggressively, the higher quality Premium parts are better choices. They cost more but are a better part overall. Not all rotors are the same, even those from the same manufacturer.

Yea, if I were tracking my car, I would go for the top of the line, but like you said, they are good for what they are. At those prices, I would expect them to be economy in any case. I'm sure it's still a good product though.

Its unfortunate how much many of the rotors cost though, like the powerslot rotors and some other brands. They can just get really pricey. It costs less to by 2 sets of centric rotors than it does to buy one set of powerslots for example. At those prices, i'll just swap out the rotors at every pad change and i'm still ahead of the game!
