OEM vs Aftermarket Outer Tie Rods on lowered tC???

Anyone ever try out Aftermarket Outer Tie Rods for our cars? Mine have been leaking grease from torn seals and wear/tear from being lowered over 10 years. I just wasn't sure if anyone had any luck with the cheaper outer title rods
on lowered set ups because we all would like to save some money in our pocket. The picture of mine below is from my front right outer tie rod. I would like to switch out all four while I'm at it.

You only have two and aftermarket is fine. You can probably buy three or four after markets for what you'd pay for one OEM.

A known brand such as Moog is probably better than no-name stuff.

+1 to Moog. Had awesome results running their parts on previous cars.

Thanks. I'll give them a shot. What about the rear ones? Are they technically the same thing? My boots are cracked on those as well.

There are no rear tie rods so you'll only need two for the front. The cracked boots in back are probably your end links which bolt to your anti sway bar. (You have two anti sway bars so you'll probably need 4 end links.)

Thanks guys. I'll probably give them a shot. One last thing. Does it matter if the Moog outer tie rods not having a castle but and safety pin? In the pictures online they don't show it but instead a basic hex nut.

Weird. Never saw a LBJ without castle nut and pin. Hard to say whether the actual part looks like yours. Try contacting the retailer to see if they'll eyeball it for you.

What I said earlier about 'no rear tie rods' wasn't exactly accurate. You have a (rear) "trailing control arm assembly" which looks similar to your (front) "tie rod assembly". The trailing control arm is your rear tow adjustment.

Anywho, the outer trailing control arm has a grease boot that may or may not need maintenance or replacement.
