Default Official Rokkor Tuning Coilovers Thread

So I was browsing through ebay today and came across these Rokkor Tuning coilovers. They resemble the RL in almost every way other than color of the springs and perch. I believe the height adjustment is the same and the spring rates are a little different for the fronts. Location is in Nevada as well compared to RL and they are priced just a little less including shipping. Who would like to be the test mule and try these RT out? Thoughts.

They definitely are very close... but how much cheaper could someone REALLY make these things? RLs are only what... like $350 shipped or something? I haven't checked in a while.

What are these, $200?

From the prices that I saw, $269 shipped for the Rokkor and $308 for Racelands.

Honestly?....Now theres a Knockoff from a knockoff already?...Raceland coilovers are great pricing, but only if you are just going to have it sit in your garage. Now these RT Coilovers are probably better or worse, who knows. We need a guinea pig to try these out. I just want to see who is crazy enough to do it. Probably someone on an extremely low budget trying to get that Slammed look LOL. Either way someone buy them and give it a review

I'd tell Dizzzle about them, but he already has RLs.

LMAO ^. The supa-dupa-mod made a funny. Someone will pick them up - look at how many people proudly ride around on RLs.

It's really just a test to see how long it takes him to flag it.

I understand, you can't help yourself. It's too easy with that guy. Hahaha.

How low do these claim to go? I can't check the listing on my work PC. But I see that the VW boys already have their eye on them. Racelands all over again.

are the RLs really that good of a coilover? I either see 94% of people bashing their products without owning them, or 6% of people flaunting RL products and saying its worth the money. Anybody?

people bashing on them is because of their price compared to other "known" brands out there. I don't know why people talk crap about the product when they never used it. I had my RL's for quite awhile now and i'm happy with what i have. no problems at all. check out the RL thread.

just because people put a $600 new turbo kit from ebay on their honda doesnt mean they should....
it not just the $$$$$$$ it's the quality of product, quality of the welds, material, quality of the redesign.....

for the price, i personally think the quality is aiite. people have their own opinions man. you're basically paying a bill more than springs so even if the RL's aren't as good as, for example, teins, i can't complain.

See I was immediately astonished with the RL priceing and how many ppl actually ordered them, but nobody really told any reviews. They just said yeh I have em and Im lowered now LMAO...WTF that doesnt help anybody at all LOL.....See I dont track my TC's at all, they are the DD cars. The only car I track is my SRT4 which is currently being built for a front mount turbo setup and plannin to run high 10's tuned. So using RL Coilovers would be a good choice if I only do easy driving? Easy Driving meaning going to work, and cruising to Tampa/Orlando about once a month. About a hour and a half drive
