Default Quick question on coilovers

Planning to buy my very first set of coilovers for the TC. Currently on lowering springs but not liking the slight unevenness of the drop, and the fact that I can raise and lower the car anytime sounds very appealing. I daily drive the car, and may be used in the future to haul some weight

My question is - all the way extended or raised, when coilovers are installed in the car, do they sit at stock height? or will the car drop a bit? I'm hoping that if I ever want to, for whatever reason, I can raise the car to stock height or close to it. Im not gonna be slamming the car at all, so a drastic drop is not necessary. Currently I have about a two finger fender gap all around and that's about the lowest I'd like to go

Im currently debating between inexpensive Ebay set without dampening, or Megan EZ's with dampening

i would not waste money on the ebay coilovers. and I have Megan coilovers on my car and loved them. the damping adjust is nice for when you wanna hit some corners or if you decide to soften it for cruising on the street.

Thanks for your feedback. As far as ride height with a coilover set all the way extended, are they at or close to stock height? How high can I go, basically?

ive never tried to put mine up to stock height before but im sure you could probably get somewhere close. I have mine setup to fit 2 fingers between the tire and fender.
