Rate Best Coilovers for tC!!!!
Like the Topic Says Rate the best handling coilovers for the tc!!
my money is on teh ksports and im waiting for them to arrive...
so i voted on that but have no ridden on them yet. but progress cs1 is the softest (4F6R. someting lik that) tanabe 6F8R tein basic/ss/ss-p 7F10R ksports i dunno yet dont for get B+G B+G 8F6R |
Best handling in what respect? The Tein SS/P are the best if you plan on tracking your tC. The Tanabe are supposed to be the best compromise between track and street. You also left off H&R.
Tein of course
Does anyone know if JIC Magic is going to be making anything for the tC?
got the Tein SS-P's here coupled with Progress rear sway bar.. gotta say it's a really awesome setup and I thoroughly enjoy it. What I really need though, is the EDFC offered by Tein.. the bumps are hellacious!!
tein is rough as hell. i have basics and my ___ is starting to hurt. maybe i should slow down for those speedbumps huh

This is the info I have on what's available:
Tein Basic - ~$779 (1.4"-2.7"F/1.4"-2.6"R) (392 lb/in F/ 559 lb/in R) Tein SS - ~$1079 (same as basic) (same as basic) Tein SS/P - ~$1189 (same as basic) (same as basic) Progress - ~$979 (1"-3"F/1"-3"R) (250 lb/in F/ 350 lb/in R) H&R - ~$1050 (.75"-2.7"F/.75"-2"R) (estimate 200 lb/in F / 325 lb/in R) Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC Type II - ~$879 (3/8"-2"F/ 3/8"-2 3/8"R) (336 lb/in F/ 448 lb/in R) Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC - ~$1059 (same as Type II) (same as Type II) Also US spring rates are normally done in 50 lb/in increments so the Teins are likely 400 lb/in F and 550 lb/in R and the Tanabe are likely 350 lb/in F and 450 lb/in R. The rates listed above are from actual rate conversion. |
What about ground controls? Which are eibach spring coilovers. Do people not know about these? racingsolution.com has them for around 410. can't beat em.
Best is extremely broad...
I've heard TRD is the best overall comfortable/daily driver safe setup. My "bias" opinion for "best" performance would be Tein SSP since thats what I have, however Teins are the best springs no question about it. |

that's interesting.
word? hmmmm..... just always been a real big eibach fan that's all. I feel Tein are just a little too stiff IMO.

just curious as the the rate on the Stock suspension? Im interested in coilovers but dont want to sacrifice too much comfort and internal injuries. thanks for any info.
150 lb/in F and 250 lb/in R
wow that seems so soft compared to what all the other brands are running. whats the advantage of having a super stiff suspension? better cornering on tracks i assume? please bear with me as i am new to all this. thanks again for tha answer though
