Could that be the spring knocking(shifting), I don't have the koni's and I get a knock backing outta my driveway. I have Sprint Springs. The back is about 1/2 in lower than the front....

this is because the front stock struts need to be cut.
I am thoroughly confused.

Koni's front struts are inserts not directly replacements. meaning that you have to use the stock strut housing. therefore you have to cut the stock strut housing to take the old strut out and insert the konis. might be simple, but it can be messy.

Correct, the koni yellows for the tc are sturt inserts. the stock mounts are preserved to house the new stock. Koni does this to keep cost down. yes I am satisfied the ride it great.

why would you need to cut? i removed one of my struts already and havent see a reason to cut them yet ..

my plan on a setup is the full hotchkis springs /sway/bumpstop kit (already have it not installed) and koni yellows .. i wanted tokico illuminas but they dont make them for the tc

BECAUSE!!!!... FOR THE BILLIONTH TIME, KONI'S FRONT STRUTS ARE NOT DIRECT REPLACEMENTS. THEY NEED TO BE INSERTED INTO THE STOCK STRUT HOUSING. THAT MEANS YOU WOULD, AND I REPEAT WOULD HAVE TO CUT THE STOCK STRUTS IN ORDER TO TAKE OUT THE OLD SHOCKS AND INSERT THE KONI'S.

the konis for the fronts are inserts. the front housings have fluid in them. so you cut the top off the housing then put the inserts into the houseing and screw on the nut to secure it
