Rears will slam plenty if you lessen the preload, but you need to buy some shorter springs for the front

Tein Standardized springs. These offer the same rates and same inner diameter, but they are an inch shorter.

Now the spring looks way shorter right? You have to keep in mind that if you have the two perches removed up front and the spring compressed (turned up towards the top hat) all the way, it is compressed to 7", so in reality these springs are only an inch or less shorter.

This is my car with the shorter springs, ALL perches back in, maxxed out. If I were to remove the perches again, I could get another inch easy...

I'm actually raising it a bit tomorrow. Wasn't looking to go as low as I used to be, just wanted to even it out with the rear. Posted this up because a lot of guys who bought these coilovers were disappointed they couldn't get as low as the B&G's with them and I like to contribute to this community.

Actually, the front spring rate should be 7kg not 8kg which are the springs you linked to. Here are the correct springs:

EDIT: I just put a set of 2 of these in my cart and did estimated shipping. The springs may only be $48 each, but the shipping is $56.84!!

Where are you getting your spring rate info from? Ive emailed F&F directly to get the information, which was 8KG front for their coilover, and the 8kg springs felt great on the car.

Also, the price is probably more because a 7kg spring is uncommon in that length. Please do research before posting or at least announce where you get your info from.

I ordered the 8KG, which honestly would be a better rate for a shorter spring anyway, and I found the ride improved tremendously.

I have heard F&F having errors on their website before. Like stating they are twin tube struts but actually aren't. I wasn't trying to flame. I do notice the springs are flat top and bottom, the factory is not flat on top and has a rubber seat on the top. Did you take this out? If you did, did you find a way to remount the strut boot to keep the dirt and water out?

It was the same shipping with either rate. Did you call and order them directly over the phone? Maybe that is the way to go...

alright so i found i went to the website but they didnt have the 8kg one they only had 4-16 but no 8 would it matter if i order the 9kg or would it mess up anything due to the weight.... also how was your ride quality afterwards was it the same till or different....

ride was actually better, the shorter spring had no tightened preload so it allowed the bumps to be absorbed smoothly. 9kg shouldnt be too different from 8kg, just a little stiffer.
