How long ago were your springs installed? Who did them? Could be loose strut tower nuts (inside the car) or the nut on the top of the strut assembly loose. Those are common ones anyways.

I would take it back to them and tell them what's going on... if they're decent people they should look over the work free of charge and check ALL of the nuts and bolts. Like I said, those two things above are occasional issues that can cause some clanking or something in the front or rear - it could be something else as well, hard to say.

there's quite a few people experiencing this problem. (myself included)
I've regreased my rsb and retorqued everything and I still get the "wooden boat" creaking. I think its the top coils on the springs rubbing together when the suspension has to articulate. I'm going to get some rubber or plastic tubing and try to insulate those coils.

I just got that problem today. Im gonna recheck all the bolts to be sure...if the bolts are okay. Im okay with the noise.

It's hard to explain too without hearing it. To me, it sounds like a hollow knock noise. Kinda like the wooden boat expample.

This creaking was discussed in a similar thread.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=180634

Plenty of people complaining about the squeaks but no one has posted back any results with the spring noise stoppers.
