Default what drop for stock rims

what springs are the best to be installed with stock rims?
(i looked around and couldnt find the thread that had the answer)

depends what "best" means... i got some TRDs and they look great... you can always go more aggressive... so its all personal opinion.

yeah i might go for trds- i dont want them so low that ill get stuck on like a speedbump at my school lol

i havent had my TRDs for too long... but i have scratched anywhere... and those damn parking stoppers... i park REALLY slow... cause those will break the bumper... if you go in too fast or their too high... so wathc out... but the TRDs are awesome

if your a DIYer DONT get the hotchkis springs unless you have a wall mount spring compressor lol. they are a B!tch to put in.

i have stock rims i esed tanabe df 210 2.25 drop in rear 2.0 drop in the front looks good and if you want to change tire sizes you can put 18's on with no problem at stock rims you will nail a 12 oz. can about a quarter of the way down looks good there was a company giving 10 percent dicount plus free shipping

wow thats a pretty big drop - at my school there is a hill that is so steep with a speedbump i know i would get caught on that

i think if you look around on this site you will be able to find plenty of pic's with the spring's you are interested in just use the search button or go over to the wheele and tire tread and look around there.

Dropped on TRD Springs...

Of course, I have 18s. But a very nice drop indeed. They won't wear out your shocks as quickly as other springs.
