wierd brake clicking noise

i was going downhill on a street that was covered in ice/snow.

as i was trying to haul to a full stop the brake let a wierd clicking noise. i let go and it stopped.. but it did it again.

what's causing this sound ?

Probably the ABS activating as you were locking up the tires. Was it a loud noise that also made the pedal feel spongy for a second?

felt the brake go alittle soft ...

i let go as soon as i heard the sound.. i was like.. wtf is wrong with this car.. haha

Yup..thats ABS. Next time you are out driving when its safe slam the brakes hard to try and lock the tires and see if its the same sound. Its perfectly normal for it to do that when ABS kicks in.
