225 will be stretched on a 9" rim, if you like it then its a good fit.

Thanks tc9o9 .. But how do you think the handling might be and how long will my tires last. Is it even safe to be stretched?

stretching isn't the safest thing in the world because you're basically putting more tension on the sidewall, however i know alot of people like it for the look. As far as performance goes, you're better off with a straight sidewall and no stretch (at least from what I've seen) and you're tirewear all depends on your toe and camber

oh, and for the record, i'd recommend 235 on the 9" rim (thats what i'm running), its a bit of a stretch but nothing too drastic

im not sure how handling will be, if your wheels are going to be staggered, then it will probably be pretty ____ty, unless you stagger the wheels so the wide ones are in the front, but on one does that with scions..

and it all depends on what tires you get and what not, as long as you dont have alot of toe, which can be adjusted you should be fine, camber doesnt necessarily eat away at your tires.

Default staggered wheels

I got a set of hp evo hyper silver chrome lip 18x8 and 18x9 225 40 18 up front and 255 35 18 in the back, check them out. I ordered a wheel and tire package from wheelfire.com , they cam fast and i got a great deal. I am wondering what drop i should do because if it gets to low i will rub because of the 18x9 in the back. But i want it to sit as low as possible?? Any suggestions would be great...
Also running a 225 is streatching to much that cant be safe be careful with that.
I may go with the TRD lowering system???

On S Techs i would recomend that you buy 18x7.5 or 18x8 at the most !! S techs will rub the ____ out of those 9" wide wheels !
