20 inch rims with drop?

Would 20s work with say a TRD drop? Would any alterations have to be made to minimize rubbing other than driving correctly?

Yanki01 06-12-2007 04:36 AM

im sure it would be fine, but seriously.....20"?

Tweaking 06-12-2007 04:40 AM

Haha yeah. Odds are I'll go with 18s.

Yanki01 06-12-2007 04:47 AM

good choice.

lil_will 06-12-2007 04:48 AM

How bout a happy medium... 19's!

Tweaking 06-12-2007 04:50 AM

That sounds stupendous

stay away from 20's on the tc unless you want to look like youre driving around a cart wagon and absolutely kill your drive.

I say 18's are good. and depending on the rim design 19s would look good too.

19's if you have a big lip on the rim, 18's if the lips is small.

however with 19s you probably have to roll the fenders. theyd be too close for comfort and youll probably scrape the tire if you ever hit a dip at higher speeds.

got 17's and drop it more...i think anything over 17 is too big

You will definitely not have to roll the fenders with 19's unless you got some crazy wide wheels. I have 19x8's on an H&R sport drop and I have never scraped the tires.

id go 18s 20s just seems like too much

20s will work. I have 2 people local running 20s. Both of them have no issues. and they are both dropped.

Munch 07-09-2007 02:09 AM

20"s work with even a 2.5 inch drop. No issues at all.

That's an old pic of my car. It no longer looks like that. I got bored. They are overlays.
