225 50 18 tires?

225 50 18 tires?
Anyone know if a 225/50/18 will fit on the factory 18's. Without rubbing, I know it will change the mph 5-7mph depending on the speed. Using the car for work and trying to improve the ride quality?

Are you lowered? It doesnt matter anyway since your suspension height doesn't affect the speedo.
