Default 700 bucks for tpms sensors ... or does anyone have them here..

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...1&goto=newpost

Continuing from above post, i realize that the sensors being absent in my tC that i got, does not mean the end of the world. But i still have the light on and want to see how much the sensors would cost.

I can get few from the junkyard but i dont know, i see them from 80 odd bucks on ebay but the quality is iffy. any suggestions.

thanksiolaa.

Put them back in your new rims. TPMS sensors transfer over... if not your going to have the same problem as this guy.

^True, think the 05 and 06 they didn't have the sensors in the wheels, had another setup. 07+ had a sensor in each wheel.

^^ Truth. My 06 uses wheel speed sensors as tpms sensors.

Clean's tC doesn't require the sensors because his car uses a different system, it changed after 06. He purchased stock wheels with the sensors on them from a 07+ tC. Because he doesn't need the sensors, he's going to sell them to you. All you will have to do is program your car.

The sensors come into the picture when i want to sell it and some lowly human being is like i dont like lights "on" the dash.

Otherwise i am good with this baby.
