pull the ebrake up hardcore, put it in reverse, rev it up, drop the clutch, enjoy the smoke.

You burn out by applying way more power to the wheels than is needed. You can do it by revving up to a decent number and letting the clutch out pretty quick.

If you arent used to a stick im surprised you havent done it on accident yet. Most people will both stall the car and burn out before getting it right.

Edit: BTW this isnt really all that great for the car. And youll go through your tires a hell of a lot quicker. You can also get a ticket.

This is a pretty bizarre question, but I'll help you out. Step on the accelerator to get the RPMs midrange. Next, let the clutch out very quickly. This will "chirp" the tires. The harder you press the gas, the more it will burn out because the tires are spinning too fast to grip the pavement. This is the simplified version, of course. You can also apply the brakes and get a longer burnout.

Its easier to do it in reverse since its a FWD...it turns it into a rear wheel by hitting reverse...still doable in 1st gear though.

FWD car burnouts are stupid, just don't worry about it and save your self some money you'll be spending on tires.

You can do them just the same in 1st, rev, or even without the ebrake at all on this car. Doing them in reverse just doesnt make sense at all, no need to. Not great at all for the car... but man, I hate to sound harsh, but I fear we will find out you have been killed in some type of street racing accident real soon. You ask first "how to do donuts in the tC", now "how do I burn out", and have asked questions about whether it is damaging to burn out and what wheel hop is. Again, try not to take this the wrong way, but you know little to nothing about sporty driving at all or the way a car is set up and what makes it tick, yet are always asking about info on how to drive like some fast and furious kid. Learn to drive normal, take the time to learn defensive driving, learn what makes a car handle and what to do as well as what not to. Dont just ask these questions on here and go out thinking you can drive like a stunt driver.. you will end up killing your car, yourself, or some innocent bystander.

I'm thinking this kid is younger than 20, his parents paid for the car, and he's a dumbass.
