Interesting rim protection idea...

Would the clear bra that you can get on the front of your car work on rims?

...and what would it protect the rims from? brake dust just wipes off, and some little layer of film might protect the car from a few rock chips, but it isn't going to save you from curbing a rim.

interesting idea, but curb rash, pot holes, and knicks from tire installation are the biggest causes of rim damage. a clear bra wouldnt prevent any of them.
