Need Answered ASAP!!!

ok so i bought some wheels from a friend

They are XXR 502s in Hyperblack 18x7.5

The tires are 225/40/ZR18

I am lowered on Tein S Techs. Are they going to rub without rolling my fenders or will i be ok? I was told i should be ok as long as they are 18x7.5 but i need to double check before i go and have them installed tomorrow morning as i am being charged $60 to have them put on!

You'll be okay, but get used to the sound of your bodywork scraping.

Do the rims already have tires on them?

Wait, so you're paying $60 for... what, exactly? To have someone put wheels on your car?

Paying $60 for the shop to transfer the TPMS Sensors from my stocks to the 18s and install the 18s (i.e Mounting and Balancing)

Doesnt say nothing about 18x7.5 with a 42 offset fitting S techs or not!

midnight_blue 10-20-2009 07:46 AM

it gives you an idea... plus with a x7.5 +42 he should be more than fine...

im running 18x8 +37 tenzos with S-drop no rubbing at all

Mos_Def 10-20-2009 08:01 AM

^that says it all brad. you should be fine.

HyPnOtIk 10-20-2009 08:07 AM

Yeah im hoping so! I didnt think id rub but i wanted to make sure before i spent the $60.

not to be a jerk... but from this post, you dont seem to know much about wheel fitment. why would you start recommending wheels and sizes to someone who knows just as much as you.

not saying that the info you put out is wrong.. just try not to get ahead of yourself

if this is directed towards me, I wasn't recommending anything just giving him examples so he can get an idea. both of those charts are useful if you look by example. But i seemed to fail at showing those examples... so i used myself as one.

Mos_Def 10-21-2009 05:53 PM

^it wasn't towards you. i think it was towards the OP. your charts were useful.
