Need Help... is +30 offset on a 7 inch wide rim doable???
i got an idea brewing on some rims and they are 1? x 7 with a + 30 offset .... was wondering if its doable and will clear the brakes.... anyone?? is that to low of an offset to use safely for DD and possible track use??

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It'll only come out ~0.6 inches from the stock wheels.

Dude....30 will work...i'm going out to 29et...

yep you'll be fine pete but i don't suggest a 25mm spacer if thats what you're thinking
|
it'll fit fine for track and dd use.

I would never run 25mm spacer...I wont run any more than 5mm. |
i'm running 17x8.5 et+32 for daily and autocross. however, if you plan on running 245's or higher, you have to roll your fenders and run negative camber out of spec. i'm running a lot of negative camber so i don't rub on every little bump.

no i dont plan running such a high width of a tire... most the rims in this offset im looking at are 29-35 offset in 7.5 or 7 inch... 16's and 17's... ive only once considered an 18 but i knew it was to heavy of a wheel for DD fun...

It'll fit.
I run 19 x 8.5 +30. |
