Question about adding spacers with my actual setup

Im writing to see if you can enlighten me about this.

I have actually a set of 18x8 wheels on my tC. With wheels 225-40-ZR-18. The offset of the wheel is 35.

Im thinking about adding some hub centric spacers to the wheels to make them sit flush to the fender. Perhaps 25mm.

The question is: Would I be pushing my wheel studs and bearings too far that they could rupture if I add 25 mm spacers to each corner? Would I be putting too heavy of a load in each corner? Also...would the wheel sit flush to the fender or would it be too pushed out of the fender with a 25mm spacer? If not what would be the maximum spacer size allowed in your opinion for my car? Would the wheels look too skinny if I push them out a little farther considering theyre 8 inches wide? Waiting to hear some feedback from you guys that know well about this. Thanks in advance.

with a spacer more than 5mm, youre going to need to replace the studs to be on the safe side. The kit you buy should already come with longer studs.

There are some bolt-on kits that have longer studs pressed into the spacer, thus you would only need to bolt the spacer onto the hub and bolt your wheels onto the new longer studs on the spacer.

as for 18x8 +35, I ran wheels that size with the same amount of tire. Youre going to definately need to roll your fended if youre lowered on anything, even trd which is what I was on. Id recommend probably 10mm or 15mm at max. It depends on how aggressive you want to go and how low you are.

if youre still at stock height, dont add spacers til you lower it first. It looks horrible at stock height

IMO, buy wheels with better offsets.

but if you must add spacers, go with 15mm in the front and 20-25mm in the rear. IMO, i'd buy only Kics Project or Ichiba spacers
