Default Wheel and Tires?

So I'm new this wheel stuff and I'm just sick if looking at my stock wheels. I have a 2008 Scion tC, and I've been looking into wheels for a couple months now and I want something flush with my fender.

I've been looking at 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. The thing is, I don't know what Offset to get? +30 or +48 is what people suggest for stock suspension/height.

Also, anyone know what tire size I should get?

Ok, first some info for you. Your Stock wheels are 17x7.5. Bolt pattern is 5x100 and Hub Bore is 54.1. the off set is 35. Remember the smaller the off set, the more they will stick out. The larger the off set the more they will tuck in. Your 17" tires are 215/45-17. I see your looking at 18s so the best size is 225/40-18. For the best everyday ride with stock suspension wheels would be 18x7.5, off set of 45, bolt pattern of 5x100/5x114 and a hub bore of 73.1. And DON'T forget to buy centric rings (73.1mm to 54.1mm) and new TPMS sensors since your ride is over 10 years old and the batteries in your stock wheels only last 10 years at best. You might also want to pick up a set 'tuner' lug nuts (12mm x 1.50) since the lug nut bore on your stock rims is larger then most aftermarket wheels, and you stock lugs won't fit.
