VW wheels on my fm tc *UPDATE NEW PICS* 3/28/09
 

soooo i put these volswagen gti wheels on my tc for shi*ts and giggles, and it reallllllllly grew on me and aloooot of poeple like it also,, im confused should i paint them black or stay with the clean silver look... pleaseee tell mee thanks

Yeah that is certainly different... looks good... Its personal preference to stay silver or go black.... I think they would look good like they are or black/dark metallic gray. Only thing is if you go black....they might look a little like the TRD wheels that Toyota offers.


Did you have to do anything special in the mounting process of the wheels? or was it a direct bolt on fit to the tC hubs?

haha yeah thats what i was thinking they might look like the trds, and fitment man they are just direct bolt on, the volkswagen gti has the same lug pattern and hub size, i know the newer gtis are different tho

17" brother i wish they were 18s lol

well the good thing about 17's is that you dont have to buy tires at least once a year for it...18s may look a bit nicer...but to me its not worth forkin' out that kinda cash for a new set of tires ever 15-20K miles.

hell yeah man tires are exspensive

thats why I still run 17's...so not too bad of a trade off.
