What size of a tire for a 18" rim?
Sup everybody?! Just wanted to ask a tire question. I got scion tC 2006, stock height. Planning to put 18x8 +30mm (front), 18x9 +35mm (rear). Any suggestions what size of tires I should use? Was thinking 215/40/18 (front) and 225/40/18 rear. I think it would be the best with a little stretch. Lemme know what you guys think, is everything gonna fit without any rubbing? Thanks!
You wont benefit from staggered wheels in this car, and might actually make the handling worse (maybe someone else can attest to this)
I'm running 18x8 +45mm offset, and have 225/40 tires, aggressively dropped with some tein coilovers and dont have rubbing issues. I dont use wheel spacers or anything else and have no rubbing issues.
Stretched tires are a bad idea, in my opinion anyway. Why compromise traction and performance for rice appearance?
just my .02$
