that's like saying

i'm not putting a 100k motor in that 10k kit car.
That is different. If your putting a 100k motor in a car than it is most likely a project car that you will be bringing to the track. I have a stock scion that will never be hitting a track, there is no need to put wheels on the car that are worth more than 30% of the cars value. If I had money like that to throw around I wouldnt be driving this car.

i put 8 wheels that expensive on my scion.

and my wheels on my bmw are almost twice the cost of those works
So your saying that you dropped about 7 G's just on wheels for a scion? I can understand the bimer...if it is a nice one, which I would hope it is. Huge difference between the two. I just can't justify dropping that much on this car, but to each their own.

he's in to expensive/baller wheels, and his car was heavily modified too not stock.. but yeah what ever works for you its fine, just be careful not buying a really crappy one that would break without reason.. axis to me are fine, some said they have had issues but most i know never had one

Or just someone who has money and someone who does not. So your saying that you are an enthusiast. Now if I hand you 100k, you will buy a scion or a similar car and dump the rest into the engine because your an enthusiast, rather than buying a 100k car.

id do the same, and personally, you dont have to spend a lot of money for nice wheels

i got a set of Volk Racing GT-V wheels in damn near perfect condition for less then a grand

i just picked up a set of SSR SP1 Professors for 1200

thats LESS then what it cost for AXIS or TSW and they are much higher quality

x2

If you search around, you can find some serious steals on gently used, top-notch wheels.

wow nebster, your a sick mother. But i am looking around the 1200 range and I like the idea of finding used wheels that are in good condition, but at that point its more like beggars cant be choosers. I will check out memoryfab and see what thats all about. It sux cuz I am inpatient and want wheels like now, so to wait for a good deal is tough even though its smart.
