Apillar vinyl removal
Having trouble remove the a-pillar vinyl. Used a heat gun... nothing tried for hours and all it leaves is glue residue and i cant removal all of it without spending hours. How did you guys get it off? thanks

I did this with my bare hands. It hurt for like 3 days afterwards but it was well worth the effort. I'd recommend using a razorblade to get yourself started and just peel by hand from there. Key is just taking your time and pulling it off in 1 strip instead of rushing it and having it tear. Once you get it off, try using lighter fluid or something of the sort with a microfiber cloth to get the residue off. Should take you about half an hour from start to finish to do this.
p.s. if you do opt to use a razor to aid you in this, be incredibly careful with it. I made a small chip in the paint above the driver side window that is impossible for a bystander to notice, but it has bugged me ever since.
