Who would steal this car, not saying anything bad. Its just dumb for someone to steal a brand new car and one that was featured in a photo shoot

Ok so I have a plan and I'd like some opinions on it.

So I like the Seibon kit, but the side skirts sit way higher than the rest of the kit, almost stock height, which makes it look bad. Also, I don't like the rear lip for the Seibon kit. But I love the front lip

For the 5axis kit, the front lip is eh and the sides are the height that a lip kit should be at. And there's no freaking way i'm paying $450 +painting to get 2 tiny triangles for my rear lip.

The VIS kits are....Do they need to be explained? It's like a Honda guy who designed Need for Speed designed these kits. The only thing that isn't bad is the Jet Speed lip because I like the plastic thing in the middle, which can make it similar the the RS kit.

So here's my plan. If I get the Seibion front lip, 5Axis Skirts, and the VIS rear lip and paint the skirts and lip 202 black, would that be doable? It's kind of a pain in the butt because I have to order them all seperately, but nobody makes a complete kit that looks good on our cars.

Or am I crazy? (possibly)

I don't see why it isn't doable...

Will it look good? Not sure. Companies usually design kits so that everything matches with itself...not with other lips.

However I can't picture what them looking like together will be..but if YOU like it and are willing to pay...then that's all on u and think u should go for it

U can call it the Frankenstein lip kit haha

Haha yeaaa I can't really picture them together either, that's the problem! If Seibon made their skirts the height that they should be then it would be an easy decision!

If you have the cash, I say go for it! It will look 1000% better that a full Seibon kit with the tiny side skirts. And I think the Seibon lip with paint will look really good.

Default TRD Release Series 7.0 kit

Anyone think/know if the TRD kit from the RS7 will be available for purchase? Or if anyone is working on a replica?

I know 1000% that it will not be available for purchase from the dealership, and I'd be very surprised if someone tried to copy it. I'm curious as to if there are copyright / counterfeit laws about that

i wonder how they'd deal with owners who damage the kit on their RS7's and want to purchase a new one.

btw, almost every major body kit manufacturer (Seibon, VIS, Extreme Dimensions, Kaminari, etc.) copies popular brands/styles. i don't think copyrighting is an issue with the "look", just the name use of the original design.

You can only purchase RS parts with a VIN number that is registered to you and with proper identification of yourself and that the vehicle is in your name. That's the same problem people had when they were trying to get the RS grille

Manufactures...at least big time ones...DON'T make replicas...they come out with styles that might be similar because certain parts just look good on certain cars...but not replicas.

U need to find fakes out of the country for that. I know a company in china made fake replicas of five axis kits

"styles that might be similar"

lol. alright not replicas, but we'll say COPIES. haha.
Name the companies.. you'll find a blitz, c-west, mugen, veilside styles, etc. same "style" but for applications that the original was never created for.

like the "Type-R" style from Seibon for our TC2.. taken from the 99-00 Civic Type R or USDM 99-00 Civic SI. i should know.

my example was more like company X making a tC2 kit that is a replica of the 5Axis tC2 kit....

your example is a whole different ball park
