Would you say your 6000K 55W Kit is true to color? (mostly white with the slightest hint of blue)?

check their photos, the cars headlights with 6,000K look a little blue, not mostly white. if you want mostly white, i'd say 5,000K is your best bet. I'd get that one too for my MGM

6,000k on a 55w ballast will look pure white. I say do 8,000k with 55w

I recommend sticking with no higher than 6000k even on a 55w ballast. I ran 55w 6000k awhile ago and it still had some blue to it. Definitely not pure white. 8000k and above is just going to look douchbag status, regardless of wattage.

I have been running 8000k for almost 4 year and they look identical to Lexus color....no douche about it...
