lol $153??

I got my Xentec HID's for $35 with shipping from ebay. No problems, either. I've been installing HID's in my cars for a while now ever since i had my 1998 camry with bi-xenon headlights with moving bulbs.

These new digital slim ballasts are incredible, the Xentec's are literally as large as a credit card almost, fits in a slot right between the fender and upper frame of the car near the headlights, perfect. took 15 mins to install the entire kit, zip tie the wires neatly and haven't had problems since.

I still remember that original kit, ballast was HUGE and metallic, had a separate hi/low beam controller, ran off the battery so you have to wire a ground as well as connect the headlight connector so it knew when to turn on, made a distinct humming sound lol.

Yeah I used to run ebay hids for a while, just gave me nothing but headaches. Flickering and seller said he would replace if I sent the originals back, so I did and he stop all communications with me and stuff. My experiences were just horrible. I bought about 2-3 kits there.

Then I got into retrofits, and man it makes a huge difference with lighting. TRS became the company I bought stuff from and everything was great with them. I heard they started out in a basement, then gradually up scaled to an actual store in Atlanta.

My cousin has some ebay hids that are holding up, and they cost 35-40. I dunno I just cant get myself to get another ebay hid though.

I used to run on Xentec HID, but with my projectors I couldn't really see and I had to replace them twice. I got tired and was recently referred to this page: Headlightbulbs.com

Best lighting I have gotten on my projector headlights. They provide with very fast shipping and they are plug ins not really HID, but the lighting is very very good, and they come in a variety of colors. I got them in Hyper White

Here's are some pics.

They don't get drowned out by the street lights, as you can see.

The attachments don't work.

I think they are still some sort of halogen based bulbs? with slightly tweaked formulation of the gas?

The pictures on their web looks photoshopped ( no offense and I could be wrong?) because each picture of the color temp is the same exact picture, like exactly spot when the picture was taken while on the highway.

@xBJunkie
Would you say they are brighter than the regular 35w hid bulbs? And can you cast other cars shadow on their own headlights? I love to do that lol

Erm.. can u see my pictures above? I can't see them, but I wouldn't mind taking some new ones. Oh, and the owner of headlightbulbs.com is an active member of clubxb.com. He will give you a 12 month warranty. He will change the bulbs within a 12 month period for any reason, for example, if you don't like the color.

In my opinion, they are much brighter than the regular halogen bulbs, and as far as I am concerned brighter than the 6000K Xentecs I had. Hell, my halogens were neither than my HIDs for some weird reason, and I changed the HIDs twice. I ain't a seller or getting any type of compensation for this referral. I'm just a very glad with my recent purchase.

Not sure if you could see the pics above, but here are some pics of me driving with the low beams.

the only way to really fix that issue and get a great cutoff line is to retrofit

Go to hid planet.com there's plenty of days and pics there.
Mounting is pretty basic. Cut a hole in the reflector and mount using jnc mounting method or trs's steel stick method. But look around on that forum
