yes, there are people who have imported the tC2 into Japan.. but the fact that the car is not sold in Japan is why it cannot be considered JDM.
the Avensis is EU, yes.. and does share the chassis with the tC
I don't know of any connection between the Blade and the tC2.. but.. afaik, it's not the same chassis as our Matrix.. I don't see that.
the Toyota Zelas is the same car.. but offered in europe, china, and the middle east.
it's sad when the Zelas commercial is what Scion kinda used to do... and nowadays.. Scion has this whole Zeus crap with the RS cars... and it's just really lame...
sorta makes me a little ashamed to be a Scion owner with the direction they've taken..

either way...tC is not JDM...that is understood
but in backinblack's defense...asking for a "jdm style" visor when there is no visor yet -well except for the one in Canada- is probably correctly phrased as....
"can Berggs make a visor that is in-channel and slim...which is similar to jdm style visor ive seen on some other cars?"

those low profile, seamless visors are not in-channel.. btw.. they can't be with the design.
it's also a style not particularly linked with JDM.. so i still wouldn't count it as such.
best to just not assume at all and not say "jdm"
yes.. Scion tC's have come in so many shades of blue... even the RS2.0 was blue... so when the RS6.0 was yet again... blue... that was a complete and utter failure..
seriously.. what?! as if the stock colors didn't have enough blue in their lineup..
and what now.. seriously? ANOTHER HOT LAVA xB?! i suppose i'm surprised they haven't made a hot lava tC yet... crap.. they might be reading this and get an idea...
going back to topic.. the visors look good.. wondering what plans there are for the back.. still working on it?

1 looks
2 open window, but still has somewhat good aerodynamics
3 reduce wind noise with window slightly open
4 parked: open window a little to keep hot air out but still make the car look closed up
5 open window without rain getting in on a rainy day
6 most importantly....."bcuz its JDM bro!" (lol jk that was for SquallLHeart)

the visor that scion has is only in Canada...not sure how to get it down here
and yea, price is still being calculated depending on costs....should be figured out by next visit since they decided to add the rear panel visors too

I am in for Option 1.
Also, if you could check, would some sort of matte-like material be possible? It would blend into the Mirror-base and Door pillar tons better. The bubble look of the visor is much more noticeable when it is glossy and many people would opt out for bubble.
If not, no worries... I can cover with some vinyl. Thanks again... and any updates?

Well, KidJ said there will be two group buys.
I choose #1 b'cause I have the rear.
1) 4-piece set (Driver and Passenger Doors with Driver and Passenger Rear Panels)
or
2) 5-piece set (Driver and Passenger Doors with Driver and Passenger Rear Panels AND Rear Window Visor)

lol! john ur looking at the wrong post...i just made a random list then. jayjay is talking about the group buy options on the first page...
two options on the group buy. one with and one without the rear visor
as far as the matte finish...i can ask, but i doubt it. their resource was good, but not a whole lot...so as far as the materials they use from the molds....that's all i've seen them use. they have polyurethane for body kits though
but yea, no updates yet. i just know the one i got needs to be redone...a few angles are off and its too short. so with those adjustments plus a new rear panel....i don't expect anything until maybe a week or two after SEMA? plus if there is any issues with the rear panel...it might have to go back to r&d and take some more time. i will update asap though
