best overall deal usually comes with problems. i've had mechanics and even a custom exhaust builder comment on the quality of my descendant exhaust... you get what you pay for no matter how you look at it

that looks much better than the one the tsudo brings, i bet it has no rasp because of the double layer, mine has a little bit of rasp which i don't appreciate much but keeps the cops away so, what the heck. But definitely that megan exhaust looks awesome and i like it better than mine. How much did it go for, including shipping?

Oh yeah I'm looking for a Descendant CAI. Which vendors has the lowest price for SL members? Or anyone selling a used one?

Dang maybe I'm crazy, but I think almost the opposite of what you guys are saying.

They look literally identical, if you hadn't gotten the burnt tip I dont think i'd be able to tell the difference between this one and the Tsudo.

+1 for Megan for the burnt tip option because I know a lot of people like that.

Maybe it's the video but I personally think this exhaust is pretty raspy. I feel like it sacrifices a lot of it's deepness for rasp and volume. The Tsudo is very deep and fairly loud without being obnoxious. +2 for the Tsudo in my book.

Megan exhaust is $125 more expensive. +1 for Tsudo.

If the scilencer does matter to you, then +.5 for the Megan. The Tsudo scilencer is garbage and this one seems ok. ***Making the assumption that the Megan Scilencer is OK when ok, I have not yet heard it***

As far as the Tsudo or Megan vs the Descendant, they're apples and oranges. Tsudo and Megan are loud, deep, aggressive looking, N1 exhausts. The Descendant is much quieter, maybe very slightly deeper, stock looking exhaust (very nice though). It's all about what you're looking for. Some people want to go loud and look at me, and others don't want to be as stand out when you're driving down the road

I can tell you that the Megan has no rasp, just a deep aggressive low tone. I have no experience with the Tsudo and can't comment. But they are probably the same just different brand name. Did you listen to my sound clip with headphones on? That will bring the sound closer in person. People do have to listen to it in person to actually hear the true sound anyway. The megan is new for the tC2 which explain cost. However I did luck out with a one time promo and got mine new for $ shipped and a bonus with the burnt tip for free. I guess for being the guinea pig. Lol...

Oh I wanted to add that if you have a MT/stick shift you can actually control the noise level. Shift to higher gear or neutral to lower/kill the noise. It's only loud when you gun it, but at idle it's a nice low growl. As the saying goes... To its own!

Hopefully you'll receive it by weekend and install over the weekend!! BTW... It comes with donut gasket (stock s pipe to Megan mid pipe) and spring bolts. But I used the stock ones instead to make it a simple and quicker install. BiglilSteve did the same when he had his Tsudo.

I forgot to mention niiiice on being loved by megan on facebook hahahh. Now down to the important stuff, I ordered from bean_garage first of all. Not only did they have amazing service but the shipping was so fast hahah I ordered yesterday and it says it will be delivered today hahaha crazy. The only bad part of operation follow chicago is that I can't install it till the followibg Monday (

Quick question: how long was the install?

How many people you have helping you? If by yourself and you're taking your time, probably about an hour especially if it's your first time. If you have some friends helping, that time goes down to around 45 mins.

Took me 2 hours with clean up too. You'll need wd40 to slide hangers on exhaust and mounts. And maybe if your stock pipes is very rusted. You be surprise how long the stock pipes are. If you can, use a pair of mechanic's gloves. Lots of sharp metals down there.
