Default Aftermarket Spark Plugs

Hey guys I am considering getting the "NGK Iridium Spark Plugs" for my TC2 found on the fastscions.com website.

Link: http://www.fastscions.com/scion-tc2-ignition-parts.aspx

My question is, will this part add any horsepower to my car at all? Even if it's just a 1-2hp gain? Also, will I see any other benefits with the addition of this part? Bottom line, I just wanna know if it is worth getting AT ALL? Or is there some other, better alternative?

Thanks.

IMO Denso and NGK are the best on the market for imports. The car has good plugs in it already though. don't waste your money on plugs until you get over 36k on it. Most plugs these day will go 50K with minimal wear under normal driving conditions.
The best bang for buck power mods for this are the NST pulley and some lightweight wheels. Reducing drivetrain weight frees up the power you already have. You will feel these mods driving more than you will any other bolt ons such as exhaust and CAI's...
a cheap mod that gives a small improvement in power is a better drop in air filter and removing the snorkel on the side of the air box. It increase air flow into the engine and produces a nice under the hood growl.

I won a set of Bosch iridium plugs and put them in a few months ago. When I took my OEM (Denso) plugs out they were still in great condition. I didn't really get a performance or gas mileage improvement. But I'm sure that was just because the stock plugs are already good and were in good condition.
