Same question as MightyP, I would really like to see the dyno sheet for this. I'm thinking this may be my next buy, especially considering how affordable this one is compared to the other options out there.

Why the drop around 2-3000 rpms? I really do not want to loose any power below 3k.

Sometime you have to loss some to gain more in other places. If we had a AEM FIC on it or a re-flash of the ecu. We would make HP at all RPM

You're going to get the loss with any intake (and exhaust for that matter). There is an ideal amount of pressure required in the intake and exhaust and by opening up the flow, the ideal pressure is reached at higher RPMs.

There are engineers on here that can give you the more technical answer but that's my understanding.

^ Yes but it's expensive ($800+ I believe) and unless you've done a lot to your engine, you won't get much of a difference. Unless you add a turbo or a full NA engine upgrade, I wouldn't worry about it.

Why get ~3%-4% performance increase at 5500 RPMS especially at the cost of losing the HP that we actually use around 1k and 2k? I am never over 4200rpms regardless of what i am doing.
Is the practical reason for an intake just for racing???

My friend just said that the scions have a pretty good intake already and therefore we are at the edge of the diminishing marginal returns

Also, shouldn't the Horse Power and the Torque equal to each other at 5252 RPMS on the dyno chart?
