Finally got around to weighing a stocker + removed sound/heat shielding, + bolts and the two removed brackets. Just over 20 pounds. So i guess you can call it 7-8 pounds weight savings for the performance junkies haha.

Still waiting on a sweet S-pipe! :D

Actually, probably closer to 11 or 12lbs on our side for the header. The weight I mentioned before was in the box with padding. So that adds an extra 1-2 lbs right there.

That is a sexy sounding number.

Know any other efficiency/ weight shedding tweaks for an N/A build?

Green has a high flow catalytic converter and the Red does not, which will cause a CEL.

I wonder how this would sound with a meganracing catback. I really want this header as I feel like it is better than the weapon r choice.

Any unbiased opinions on the two?

Anyone know the cheapest place to order one of these? I am short on cash and would like to find one for around 500.00 USD.

Right now the cheapest I have found is $530.00 from Mengmotorsports.com

I just ordered from mengmotorsports which is really good about shipping. Is shipping always going to be delayed by two weeks or so due to the fact that the header is made per purchase? I'm hoping that it won't take that long, but if it does, I guess I wouldn't want it rushed.

Just curious because I am excited to install it.

It will be 2-3 weeks before we can get it out.

Dear Paul,

So I've been waiting for the arrival of my Dezod V2 Green Header. A few questions have come to mind.

Should I use the stock header gasket? Will the stock header gasket require modification?

Does Dezod include lock washers for the header? Will the header gasket require modification?

Please include any installation necessities in your response.

Use the stock gasket. It will not require modification. It doesn't include lock washers. Just comes with two bolts and nuts to be used when connecting to the s-pipe.

You also have to open the inside bore for the s-pipe donut gasket since it doesnt directly fit the header. There is also a procedure for breaking in the cat for the header. the instructions for breaking it in after instalation is on there page basically have to let car idle for 10 min and rev to a certain rpm for a few minutes. Then your all set. I used a dremel to open the donut gasket bore.
