1/4 race a tc2 stock for stock would win pretty easy considering many test drive mags got it at 15.7-15.9 stock 1/4 mi

I'm wondering if the unichip helps...still waiting for a dyno with one of those.

My friend's gts is faster than other gts' though. How much, I'm not sure.. but I've seen him pull on stock ones.
Keep in mind I have an automatic(less whp, longer gearing, no launching, ect...). His GTS has a CAI too. He keeps it in shape....

The unichip is great. Best performance mod(CAI required if u want to feel the difference) along with the pulley. When I hit 4th gear, it has to have at least 30whp more at that particular part of the powerband(not peak HP). Before it would just feel like it hit a wall, I wouldnt even bother racing after that. A corolla could stay side by side with me lol

Now, it keeps on pulling and pulling.

Lowest I've seen is 15.0 at 93MPH.

It should be in alphabetical order. The tC did 60 in 6.5 and 1/4 in 15.1 secs.

Yeah, it's surprising that you're keeping up with a GTS. I agree with the tc hitting a wall after third. It was slow as ____, but now it's amazing. I may eventually get the unichip.... not sure.

I haven't been disappointed by any of my mods and would recommend them to anyone working towards an n/a build.

I have raced a Celica GTS and pulled on it and kept pulling. I am stock minus an axle back.

One of these things happened:

-The person didn't know how to drive his car properly. Trust me, trying to stay on the "lift" part of the powerband is harder than staying within VTEC on an Si.

-Horribly maintained car.

-It was an automatic. Auto GTS are as slow or slower than a 1st gen tC auto.

Celica GTS weigh 2500lbs and come with 180hp stock. They're definitely faster than a stock tC2.

Not sure, I don't know the specs on the car. A lot of comes down to gearing as well. I've pulled on a 2000 Civic Si with two different drivers.
