Exhaust Installation DIY???
 

I am thinking of getting an exhaust within a couple months, this one to be precise http://www.arkperformance.com/Produc...SM1201%2D0210G and I was wondering if an exhaust system is doable for someone who doesn't have experience in it and is doing it for the first time. I have been watching video after video and it seems relatively easy all you need is the tools and its pretty much just bolt on and go, but wanted to get some suggestions before I do it myself.

I installed the ARK on mine. Perfect fit. And completely easy as long as you have a way to get under the car comfortably. Would definitely suggest the torque solutions hangers though.

all you need is like 4 sockets max and a few wrenches. possibly a screw driver to get the hangers out of the rubber hanger things ( dont know what those are called) and like tagged said, its pretty easy. Ive pulled my exhaust off a few times and didnt take that long. hardest part was getting comfortable under the car because it was low clearance on jack stands.

What size of the torque hangers do I get, or does it matter???

You will definitely be able to do it. The only thing that you might run into and say, "I can't flippin' do this!" is when you are trying to you your rusted-out stock exhaust off. You might run into some problems with some bolts that will frustrate you. That is one thing no on here has mentioned yet because they are remembering how easy it is to install once the old one is off. The only trick is getting the old one off first which no one thinks about. It may or may not suck, but it probably will. Get some WD-40 or real penetrating oil and hose down everything you have to touch. You should be good. Don't go strippin' bolts now, because you'll definitely be in a pickle then.

Yea I replaced mine before a winter hit. Those bolts were like new!
And the torque solutions hangers come as a set made for the tC, forgot where I bought them from but a quick google search will find them for ya.
