Default Light Weight Flywheel

Does anyone know of a comany that makes a light weight flywheel for tC2? I'm looking at getting the ACT TC8-XTG6 cluth kit and want to change the flywheel at the same time. ACT doesnt say they make one and neither does Fidanza. Just looking for some help here, thanks.

A bit light for my taste, since I already have a lightweight crankshaft pulley. Some inertia is good, after all, so you need weight somewhere or you'll be stalling it all the time. If ACT had it in their StreetLite line, I'd get it, but ProLite, no thanks. If you don't have the lightweight crankshaft pulley, then I'd say go ahead, get the ProLite flywheel, should give you what you're looking for.

I have the NST pulley installed already as well. So are you saying I shouldn't or don't need to do both? I'm looking to boost my tC in the next year or so and want to make sure all the comp that need to be changed are before I go to far.

Learn to drive…you’ll get used to the low mass…all F-1 drivers have.

yes, you may stall a few times when you swap to a light weight flywheel, but you'll adapt and soon it won't bother you after a while...

Well i see that the lightweight flywheel is 9.8 pounds, but how much does a stock flywheel weight?

Thats for the tc1. The tc2 uses a different transmission. The only flywheel I've seen for the tc2 is the prolite.

Laugh, such arrogance. Welcome back 2tC.

I have no personal experience with lightweight flywheels, just saying that from what I've read, it seems even veterans feel that going too light can make for an unpleasant experience.

Your parents failed miserably! They weren’t even able to teach you to keep your mouth shut if you didn’t have anything nice to say. I feel sorry for you…
