Default Megan Racing Mid-pipe for Scion tC 2011+ now available

For those of you that like to piece together your own cat-back exhaust system, Megan Racing released a new mid-pipe for the tC2.

For those who like to tailor exhaust to their own taste, Megan Racing offers a Mid-Pipe exhaust piece for the Scion TC. Designed as a direct bolt-on unit to replace the stock piece, this mid-pipe works in conjunction with Megan Racing Axle-Back exhaust piece [Polished or Blue Tip] as well as other Axle-Back systems that are designed to work with OEM Mid-Pipe as well (Such as the TRD).

Constructed of T-304 Stainless Steel and polished to a mirror finish, these mid-pipes are lighter and stronger than your OEM piece and will stand up to corrosion for years to come. The larger 2.25" piping and High-Flow resonator improve horsepower and torque throughout the entire power-band while keeping the tone to a low-mellow yet aggressive tone.

Word :D

I believe it's the only one on the market for the tC2 at the moment.

I think so too, I know another member posted looking for one for his RS8.0. I linked him to your thread.

Can we get a video of the exhaust to see how it sounds?

I have a TRD Axel back right now, and I really like the way it sounds, I just want it a little louder but I don't want to give up the deep tone, and little burble of the exhaust.

I think the 2.25 is good, it's a little larger than stock but not too large so it avoids being a fart cannon

If anything I would think it could make the car more "farty" being that a larger pipe diameter will be quieter than a smaller pipe diameter. Also giving a deeper tone, and not as raspy as a smaller exhaust. (the loudest trucks always have the smallest pipes)

Hey guys,

We don't have any videos yet of the product installed since it just came out, but I'll be sure to post it up once we get one.

Thanks for the info! It's good to know before you jump into buying something.

I know big little Steve has the dezod catted header, stock mid-pipe, and TRD exhaust. I'd try to get in contact with him about it and check out a video he posted. Idk if that's a route you might be interested in as well, so I thought I'd throw that out there as well

I installed the drift-spec catback Meganracing exhaust on my TC2 and it sounds amazing. Tons of people including Si owners, Acura owners, and others in my town love it and wish their car sounded like it. My TC2 is has no intake, nor headers, just for reference.

In my opinion, buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Why? In my opinion, it sounds better than any current exhaust for the tc2.

Add a secondary resonator to tone it down if it's too loud.
