It should have came with a silencer. Although, I've never heard it with the silencer on it.

By the way, I saw you were looking at NST pulleys a few months back, did you get one?

I'm looking at them now and I'm skeptical based on "trouble" posts and the amount of people who have them who have had issues.

It came with a silencer, but its still sort of loud. Not get pulled over by a cop loud though. I just wanted to return to stock because I need my car to look and sound a little more stock. I don't mind when I'm not working, but when I am I don't want it to look all raced out

And on the pulley, modern cars don't really have balance issues anymore. It's all internally done (since like 1990 something) I just haven't got one because they are never in stock. I ordered one once and waited like three months before canceling my order. One day when they post they have some in stock, I'll jump on it.

So I have a Greddy Evo3 Axleback on my '11 tC, and I love it. However, I really do want to get my mid pipe changed, don't mind if it's aftermarket or needs to be custom made.

I went over to a shop to get a quote, and they had some trouble figuring out where the 2nd cat for our car is. There's like these two blobs when you look under our car, is it the one on the front?

Reason why I'm asking is because they can't touch the 2nd cat and needs to be left as it is, they can only cut it out and put on a custom pipe, which I don't mind as long as it is done properly and does the job. I don't want it to be raspy either, I wanna keep the deep tone from the Evo3 but amplify it more, possibly a bit more in the cabin.

Thanks guys.

Why don't you just get the Megan mid pipe and hook up your greddy to it? When I had the whole Megan catback, it was quite loud, to the point of me being worried I was attracting too much attention from cops. I'm pretty sure both the Megan and the greddy bolt up to the stock parts as the Megan does on its own and it sounds like your greddy does too. If your worried about smog, just hold on to the stock parts and throw them on in 5 years when smog check rolls around. It takes about an hour to change, pass smog, then change it back
