IMO it's not for me but if you like it than thats all that matters mabye If you add a small flow master muffler it will sound better.

Not for me. I'll stick to my Agency Power being raspy with an exhaust leak from the muffler twisting itself off, think it sounds better. Add some resonators and a different muffler to that "straight pipe" setup.

How does that thing drive? Any problems? Doesn't the straight pipe kill the back pressure?

It's cheaper then buying a 500 dollar exhaust it cost me all but $30 to straight pipe my car and it don't sound bad it's not a tuned tone but it's a harsh very mean tone

Do NOT get flowmaster. Get a magnaflow high flow muffler

^^^DONT get a magnaflow either!

The design of the OE exhaust is the exact same as a Magnaflow straight through.
Looking back I should have just done a resonator delete, instead of doing the magnaflow and res delete... basically the magnaflow was a waste of money... 0 change in sound when I had just the muffler swapped.

To the OP, did you remove both the muffler and the resonator, or just the muffler?

^ he needs a good exhaust w/ a Magnaflow... I've had both so I'm speaking from experience

Well then again, the best muffler for a tC is a Turbo. lol Sounds great!!!

^^^ a first gen and a second gen sound drastically different. The magnaflow I used on my xD sounds perfect, the same muffler on the tC2 sounds like poop... Piping size has to be changed for the tC2 to sound good...

Although, I do agree 100% with a turbo being the best muffler for any car.

^^^yea second gens are designed to sound more aggressive than the first gens, problem is that if you just run a new muffler it has no sound change unless you remove the resonator, then it sounds like the video posted above....

i had straight pipe on mine for a bit and it sounded ok but killed my gas and lost torque off the line, after the turbo kit i put the straight pipe on for a few days and with no cat and no muffler it sounds wicked and got a few fire ***** after she was nice n hot
