Forgive me for asking such a dumb question but, will these motor mounts also work on TC2's with automatic transmissions? Rather be safe than sorry before I get carried away shopping.

How much is the GGP I think I'm going to get one provided the price is good. It looks pretty easy to install and seems like it's worth it.

It doesn't matter which transmission you have, the effect is the same.

Ordered GGP, Thanks for the thread Johnmk, it's very helpful. Awesome, quick customer service at NurSpec. I'm excited to try it out with the stiffer bushing

Is that from the interior or does it change the sound from the exterior also? What bushing do you have in?

I was referring to the interior, my bad lol

I have the firmer more solid insert in, I love it. My coilovers, 40 series tires, shift bushings, and now this motor mount make me feel super connected to the car & road. I enjoy it.

Got my motor mount today. I've never seen one and it was a lot bigger than I expected. Quick question. How do I swap out the bushings. I want the 88DM one in but I can't figure out how to get the 70DM one out.

I got it installed with the stock bushing it comes with. A couple things I noticed. I was following this video: I used the GGP not the TS but installation is the same.

The installations on Automatics and Manuals are completely different. There are some AT lines going right in the path of where you would but the 19mm wrench. I had to remove the battery and the whole case holding it in. I had to use a socket wrench with extender and a breaker bar to get the bolt out.

Getting the stock mount out was a bit difficult because the lines are in the way. I ended up removing a screw that was attached to a plate holding the lines on and was able to move them over enough to get the old mount out and the new one in. I also removed the heat shield which got me more room.

Ok, Final Edit: I am not sure if the vibrations I was noticing were normal or not. i did a bit of research and apparently a lot if vibrations are normal. I have never had a motor mount on a car so I guess it was a unfair review. I am going to keep the thing in for a but because I do like it and I do notice a difference and it is exceptionally well made.

All cars have motor mounts, so perhaps you meant to say, you've never had a firmed-up aftermarket motor mount.

Yep, increased vibrations are normal. Significantly increased if you go for the 88dm bushings. Would it have been possible to loosen the bolt from underneath the vehicle? That's what I usually do. Gives me more leverage to get it started, and to finish it off/tighten it when putting it back on.

Haha, I know all cars have motor mounts. i meant a stiffer one. It is possible to loosen it from the bottom. I actually tightened it up from the bottom of the car with the engine splash shield removed. I wonder if the vibrations I was noticing were normal or not because they seemed to lessen a bit in neutral.
