The vibrations you are feeling are from the harmonic resonance of the engine. These occur in every internal combustion engines. The difference between the manual & auto trans vibrations is the rpm at which the engines idles in drive (or with the clutch pushed in while in gear) and the load on the engine. The auto trans tC most likely idles slightly higher to allow the torque converter to build pressure to make the vehicle hold its place and take off without the gas being applied. Whereas the manual is idling lower, with no load, and only spinning the clutch disk and throwout bearing. It doesn't seem like much, but the manual tc's vibrate a lot when you lug the engine on a takeoff. The auto tC is basically lugging the engine all the time at a stop in park.

Sorry for the book lol

And the vibrations lessen in neutral because you are removing the load from the engine aka like pushing in the clutch on a manual.

Thanks for the clarification. I did not understand why the vibrations lessened in Neutral but now I do

I hope I'm not off-topic here, but I have a question. Does throttle response make any difference in actual torque? I know it doesn't increase the torque but would it improve acceleration because of increased tension and reduced wheel chirp?

Ok guys I have the ggp mount and when I picked it up it had the softer bushing installed, I can't seem to get it out to swap it over to the firm one. Any advice on swapping the bushings out?

How to swap bushings:

The best way that I have found is to find a socket the same size at the middle metal tube. Place the mount above level on something like a roll of tape or balance on 2 items leaving the middle clear. Knock out the center metal tube. From there you can tap out the bushings from the inside out.

Something like that, I think.

I called about an hour ago to order mine but I had a question about another product on Nurspec that says it works on our cars.

http://www.nurspec.com/apexi_integra.../i-513853.aspx

It seems like a much cheaper alternative to other throttle controllers, but I am having a very hard time finding a review for it. I think for the price I may just get it and write my own review. I asked if it needed to plug into the OBD2 port, and If not, I was going to order them together. The discription is vague on how it hooks up so Greg is going to call me tomorrow. Very nice guy.

Got mine ordered today. I dropped the idea of the throttle booster once I read a review that said you have to tap it into your ECU. As in, splice it in! No thank you.

I am gonna drive around with the 80 bushing, and tell people its a V8 swap after I put a bunch of Autozone crome-stick-on junk, all over the car. Gonna be awesome...

Why would I do that? I can get a ton of VTEC stickers that EACH add 30 WHP

I heard if you go buy some tint from walmart and do it yourself, you can get up to +10 whp. Anyone have a dyno before / after their tint?

Yes. I will post them as soon as I get an email my charts. The trick is the installation. I had the tint stuck to my windshield in a off-centered slant covering roughly 25% of the glass. I took it into the shop and the guys doing the dyno test actually laughed at me. They removed it and wadded it up, shoving it directly into the throttle body, then did the test. I showed a 122 whp gain from it. Simply amazing.

I actually tinted my intake. Apparently it is much safer than putting it in the TB.
