Was always referring to scionlife so I finally joined. Recently bought an ACT heavy duty clutch and lightweight (~15lb) flywheel from pro import tuners. The clutch didn't come with a throw out bearing like i thought it would so I'm looking at one from parts geek thats "genuine oem". Just curious if anyone has any experience with these parts and what they got out of them? I read some mice reviews on replacing throw out bearings. Also curious if there's a Haynes/Chilton or euivalent book for the 2011 tc?

The throw out and the slave cylinder for the clutch are the same part. Mine exploded at 60k and the only ones you can find are the OEM ones.

What happened with your bearing gave out? Winding sound, or what were the repercussions?

Clutch pedal went to the floor and never came back, so you couldn't use the clutch. i drove 30 miles w/o the clutch to a shop.
