I know I'm new here, so forgive me if you guys have covered this-but you do know that Toyota has said it won't cover E85 related warranties right? They have said over and over again that anything over E15 is not recommended due to the fuel systems seals not being able to handle the corn-fuel.

This is the dyno sheet of my car all bolt-ons, no tuning and Unichip.
I brought the Unichip without the Flux display, but later on I Got the Flux display. I only have two maps, the first run was made with map 2, and the second with map one. I'm still confused on which map is what but here are the results.

Hey Jack, I only have 91 fuel available where i live and wanted to ask you (or anybody in this thread who would know), what would be the best map for me to run theoretically? 92 Fuel+ ? or 89 Fuel- ?
And one more thing for any given fuel/setup timing- is better as long as you do not get a CEL?

Oh and +9,000 on the E85. That would be AWSOME!!!!

Installed my unichip today. Gotta run my tank empty for the regular fuel and then put premium in it.

tc2newb... thanks for the Post.

You should be fine with a 92 F~/T~ map on the 91 octane fuel. If you try it and get a flashing CEL for misfire, try the 92 F~/T- and it will work.

Less fuel (F-) is more aggressive than more fuel (F+) and more timing (T+) is more aggressive the less timing (T-). The more aggressive in a map set is the F-/T+ map and the least aggressive is the F+/T- map.

Please let me know if anybody has any other questions.

Cheers

Default Throttle response?

Lots of positive feedback so just ordered my unichip today. My question is how will it affect throttle response? I really can't stand the lag between foot and ecu. Can I/should I use a throttle controller along with the unichip?

I dont see why not. But i noticed that a throttle controller plugs into the OBD port also. So if you want the FLUX2 display with you unichip i dont think it will work.

I thought throttle controllers plug into the throttle sensor connected to the pedal?

It T's into the pedal connector and then plugs into the OBD port. It plugging into the OBD port is the reason why I haven't bought one yet as I have a ScanGauge plugged in.

Thumbs up Another satisfied customer!

Well guys I just finished my install which took about 20 min, only because I had to jack up the car and remove the tire, and I have to say I am impressed. Again we all know that the tC is not that fast to begin with but I have to say that the Unichip definitely made a difference and you will notice it instantly. There's definitely more pep in my step now.

Another satisfied customer. Thanks Jack.

Oh and on another note, just ordered this Apexi throttle controller and I will be posting a review after install. THIS DOES NOT PLUG INTO OBD connection.

ok i got my download cable and i am trying to do a few thing with my unichip. I have some questions about it all.

1. My unichip is going to ready to disconnected. It wont stay on the ready mode.
2. whats the difference between -,~, and +?

Thanks Alot.

14tC10Series... thanks for the post.

You have a com port error. On the top tool bar, click on Comport and select the correct port and you should get a steady "Ready" indication.

~ means standard value... for example, T~ means the nominal timing value for that map.

+ means "more"... T+ means a little more timing than the nominal value for that map.

- means "less"... T- means a little less timing than the nominal map.

Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions.

Cheers
