Nice video. Did that car put down 200 whp stock? What is scion claiming at the crank with the new engine. I haven't even looked yet.

Nevermind, just looked it up, the rated it at 180hp and a whopping 10.4:1 compression. Holy ____!

Scion rates the car at 180 but when we tested it at Church's Automotive on his DYNOPAK system and it made 198whp & 197tq and at after we boosted it at 8-9 psi it made 333whp & 302tq

Do you think the tC2 can make 350whp safely?

Like the design drawing. When will the spoiler be fabed. Holding out on buying a spoiler because I didn't like the lip spoiler option.

I have to admit im overwhelmed by the numbers put down but i guess chalk it up to a slightly larger engine and high comp. Nice work guys!!!!

I think the reason the stock dyno numbers are so high is Dynapack I'm not saying that Scion did not underate engine just that it may be 10-15hp less.because Dynapack read off the hub so its always a tiny bit higher. Only reason I like Mustang Dynos better is Mustang Dyno's require you
to manually enter vehicle weight and environmental conditions. Therefore either inflating or deflating dyno numbers are possible. The real benefit to the Mustang type Dynos are their ability to put a load on the car and as others have said, simulate real world driving conditions for tuning purposes.

Naw I've just been around a lot tuned cars..and different Dynos.. and different drivetrain losses.

I prefer Dynojets...over either

Isnt the higher compression worse for boosted applications though?

Yes that's y the Psi is so low and the also cause of the clutch slippin prbly but u never push it past whats healthy for it.supercharger are boosted on Mustangs add from factory on a GT with 11 something compression its all in the tune and how good it is. U can blow a engine on psi with forged internals
if the person doesn't know what they are doing.which is no where near the case here....Great job, Rob and Descendant, very good. I just wanna say this made my want to actually buy a 2011 tC. This and the Five Axis Lip Kit will be buying in 6 months after ankle heals. I know I'll be a happy customer

In theory yes, but a good engine builder would tell you its all in the tuning.

For example...our best & most power full 4 cylinder race motors run 13:1 compression on methanol @ 80psi of boost.
