try this get a circuit test light probe. disconnect negative battery terminal hook up test light probe in between negative terminal and negative battery. If it light up you have a short. Next you start carefully pull each fuses one by one [put it back] until the test light go out to find short.

Think so? Even though car starts? Keep the ideas coming. I was told it may be the maxi fuse? The glass looking fuse inside the fuse box in engine bay. I can't figure out how the heck to remove it.

I'm thinking about running 3" custom exhaust all the way back to a 4" Megan tip wondering how it will affect my setup my car already has a little boost creep at WOT I boost 9psi on an 8psi springs

No, didn't know there is a fuse on the harness. Not sure there is. Most folks I've talked to say its one of the main fuses. Just gotta figure out how to remove them. They're inside what looks like a glass see through cover inside the fuse box towards the lower left.
I don't have the descendant kit. I've got the Dezod kit with their 3" vband exhaust.

@scionchicop the aem has a fuse on the PNP harness, also did you try the method I suggested to locate the short..Did the probe light up?
@ o tagged o the 3" exhaust would be kick ___ but I don't know about boost creep. I think the tuner can tune over that if there a boost creep to account for that extra psi. My old tc1 turbo ptuning tuned over the boost creep I was hitting 12 psi when I punch it then it go back down to 8psi. so I guess they made a special map to compensate that extra psi. If u have a AFR gauge monitor the fuel let go gas if u see it lean out...

Yeah that's what I had planned to do since my creep wasn't bad and I watch my gauges all the time
