Default //Dezod// AEM EMS for TC2 is now ready

Did some recent testing on a 6 speed TC2 with our kit and 3" exhaust and where impressed to say the least....Made 320whp at 10.5 PSI instead of 11.5 PSI on the FIC. Drive-ability was FAR improved as well.

With our AEM EMS, you will have full control over fuel, ignition and VVTi. This is a must for anyone looking to make serious, reliable, hardcore power.

System includes the following components
Modified V2 AEM EMS box
Plug-and-play harness
Start up AEM TUNER V24 CAL
Intake air temp sensor
Choice of 3 or 5 BAR MAP sensor

Only snag with this setup is that you must wire the coolant fan to the EMS or to a switched 12V source because this ECU has no fan control pin on it.

Pricing is here:

this is amazing news, just to confirm this is no longer a piggy back system and its a stand alone? and can we choose this as an option when purchasing the turbo?

This is a full standalone with respect to the fuel and ignition. What you enter is what you get.

Not yet on the turbo system. You would need to purchase the tuner system and then an injector upgrade to run it with it.

so just to confirm that this is not to be matched with the turbo? is there a plan to make this work with the turbo system?

We have decided not to make the AEM EMS available in a kit for a few reasons. However, it's not impossible to have it and we can provide a base calibration based off of our kit with the EMS as well.

If you wanted this combo of our kit and the EMS, you would have to purchase the EMS here:
http://www.dezod.com/pd_dezod_motors...m-scion_tc.cfm

the tuner turbo kit here:
http://www.dezod.com/pd-dezod-scion.cfm

and some injectors of choice:
http://www.dezod.com/pd-deatsch.cfm
or
http://www.dezod.com/pd-injector-dyn...jectors-tc.cfm

Total cost of said kit with EMS would run around $5928.00. Not bad in the grand scheme of things for what you get.

So would you recommend using the tuner program? im looking at getting the kit soon. i dont want to run more than 8lbs of boost.

If you wanted the AEM EMS, yes. No sense in paying for an AEM FIC and PNP harness if you want an AEM EMS to be purchased in the full kit....

The tuner kit doesn't include fuel and engine management (So adding the EMS and injectors makes sense)

The complete kit includes both! (AEM FIC, PNP harness and injectors)

Correct. The AEM FIC is a piggyback.

NGK Iridium and it will depend on the boost you run. We run most TC2 with 10-11 PSI on the stock plug. Anything more, I'd recommend 1 step colder.
