//Dezod Motorsports// Scion tC2 Turbo System is now here!
Made it home last night in one piece! Car was extremely fun to drive and the turbo spools up so quickly. Love it so far. I averaged 35.7mpg doing 80-85 for most of the drive. She definitely wants the pedal to be pushed. I'll be taking it to a dyno hopefully sometime next week. Stay tuned....

Looking forward to seeing your tC at the meet tonight. Looking forward to getting a ride with the new setup!

It was fun to drive.
This data will not come from this car as it was an auto and will throw off stats for comparison from all other kits.
Finally was able to get her up on a dyno. Shop I used has a Mustang dyno. Keep in mind, my car is an auto. I knew as soon as picked it up and drove it, it had some power but dyno results put an exclamation point on that! Way more than i expected (i was thinking between 215-240hp Anyway, here is the dyno sheet.
In case you can't see numbers.
291 TQ 284 HP

Ask Mike about his impression of the feel of an auto turbo. I normally would say I am not a fan of auto boosted cars. I drive a 5 speed xB2 daily so an auto is like falling asleep driving for me. However, when I drove this car around town after I finished tuning it, I was actually having some fun with it. I let a friend of mine drive it too whom drives a 745i daily and a sport bike for fun and he had a blast with the car picking on a 350Z 6 speed.
@Scionchicop, my guess was pretty close! I could tell by how surprised you were that the power was up at that mark. Congrats man, enjoy. I'll pray for your tranny to hold up to the right foot! lol
Auto trannied cars can be plenty of fun to drive imo, especially if the tranny is built with a shift kit and other goodies. You can't beat how consistent they are when done properly. I prefer manuals because they weigh less, tend to be more reliable and much cheaper to maintain if they are not abused too much.

Thanks guys.
Being auto turboed, i have no regrets. Not yet at least. I don't plan to punch it all the time. I did it for the fun of it, not to challenge every other car. So far, its a blast and when i need to do a pass, it does it without hesitation.
@blackedout, good guess! I'm going to throw a tranny cooler in there for piece of mind. A lot of people said, don't boost an auto, but this new 6 speed is uncharted territory and are giving opinions from tC1 experience. We'll see how it goes.
In all, i'm very happy with the kit, performance, and service i received from the crew @ Dezod. Any questions i had, they were willing to bend over backwards, and i had a lot! The shop i took it to for the dyno were also very impressed with the results and performance.
