Unfortunately there aren't any off the shelf kits available anymore for the 2AR. Support pretty much dropped off the face of the earth for this platform so you will most likely have to piece things together and possibly find someone to make you a exhaust manifold ($1000+). If you can find a kit though, Dezod would be my first choice, then Descendant (really the only 2 options anyway). The topic has been covered quite a bit on this board though, so do some searching and see what might work for you.

IMO, spending $5k to turbo (turbo kit + proper engine management) isn't worth it for a FWD. It is the best way to go if you are wanting some serious power though. If you want it bad enough and put in the effort I'm sure you can make it happen. Good luck with the search.

I opted to go FBO and an OV Tune (I think the tune is discontinued now as well) and picked up about 35-40whp for ~$1500. That was worth it to me to make the daily drive more enjoyable, but for what it costs to turbo this it just isn't worth it IMO.

Default Own Kit

I have Megan Racing headers and had my stock headers also. So I cut my stock headers and welded pipe to them and into a flange. Less than like $40 in pipe. After that the main things for it are the turbo it self and then the tuning part. I used the AEM Series 2 ECU($1300) then getting it tuned(free for me since a buddy does it). I think I spend less than $4,000 on everything since I pieced it together that included everything
