How similarly are the tc1 and tc2 kits? I was thinking about buying a used tc1 kit for my 2013 tc2 and replacing what would need to be changed and rebuilding the turbo what all would need to be changed to work properly?

The only things that are similar is the following:

-Turbo
-BOV
-wastgate.
-AEM FIC

Nothing else from the tc1 kit will work.

will you be putting a turbo on any RS 8.0 automatics with paddle shifters?

I want to know if the transmission can handle the added power.

a few tc2 auto have turbo already and they are putting out good number around 280whp and tq. It look like the tc2 auto can handle more power than the tc1 auto.

Are there any extra special parts or transmission upgrades needed for the automatic and I'm guessing you're running a lower boost for the less out put of power

Any one have a tune map that was done after the turbo install? I was running the base tune for a while, then tuned it professionally(although the tune was horrible), then tuned it myself. After I tuned it, it ran great for several months. But it's having some problems now in colder weather. Seems like it's running faaaaar too rich. I'm hitting low 10's and high 9's on my afr gauge. I didn't mess with timing at all, but if I was to make an educated guess, I would say that the car is pulling timing now for some reason and throwing my tune off.
Anyone with a tune map out there willing to send it to me?
I wanna see what other people/shops have tuned it to.
Btw, stock PTUNING boost seems to spike at about 11-12psi them taper off to about 8-9psi. I'm running a full 2.5 inch exhaust turbo back, NST under drive pulley and the PTUNING turbo kit.

I have a tune map at 12 psi original from previuos owner when he sold the descendant tc2 kit to me. Also I have a new 10 psi tuned map from Granite state dyno shop.
