Default Single din dash kit

I personally have the kit you're looking for. I'm a professional car audio installer. The looks nice but you have to mod the mounting points to make the dash panel sit properly. The kit is a Metra 99-8230 http://metraonline.com/part/99-8230. Basic Toyota wire harness 70-1761. This kit is far from being close to the tC1 bracket. I guess you're doing what I did. I had a tc1 and thought I could just bolt it right in.

For a single din the only option that I'm aware of is the kit I recommended to you. It's just a matter of modding the kit a little by cutting some parts of the mounts off to allow the panel to snap back in place properly.

Unfortunately I do not. I was able to do it without using washers because I didn't have any on hand. It's not complicated at all. If you were able to rig the original cage to make it work for the time being then you would be able to do this no problem. Mount the kit the way you should then hold the radio bezel over it and look where it hits that prevent a flush mount. Honestly I didn't even notice it for almost 7 months until I did the fog light hard wire mod for a friends tC2.

Also I notice the biggest speakers in the front door don't give sound ever since I installed my jvc deck using the scion wire harness

Go back and check if you hooked up the Blue w/White stripe wire from the JVC unit to the blue or blue/white of the wire adapter harness. That needs to be hooked up to turn on the amplifier for your 6x9 speakers/woofers in the doors.

Great to hear. I was going to suggest using the pocket and frame from the old kit and just making your own mounts. Now just enjoy your music. If you want to improve the sound greatly, I suggest you Dynamat the inside of the door because the 3" mid (center speaker) is a floating speaker. Meaning sound escapes from the back.
