2012 tC SNS 200 Nav Unit & Backup Camera?
 

Has anyone installed one with this setup? I have made all the connections but the only video input available is for the 2 AUX monitors. With the camera plugged into it it will only work if I have selected the video option on the interface.

There is a blue plug on the top right of the rear of the unit which looks as though an additional harness may be needed but I cannot find any information on it.

I tried contacting Scion and they referred me to my dealer. The dealer has no clue because they haven't installed one. I also contacted the camera manufacturer and they were no help either.

Please help.

Well, let's see. I did use search and found the link you posted. Have hooked up the camera as suggested. The stereo in that link is not the same as mine and as I stated in my original post I was able to get the camera to come on but only if I select the video input.

I did not know that the SNS200 in 2011 was not the same as the SNS200 in 2012...

They are the same, but I have not seen my input for the backup camera. I wil check again tommorrow.

It may be wrapped in foam tape and not visible, but an input directly into the unit I did not see.

Can anybody tell me what I am going to need to install the SNS 200 in a 2012 xB?

Also what will I need to do so all options are available while driving?

Just curious did it have an RCA relay cable in there?

It seems my SNS 200 didn't come with the wires. Just curious.

RCA that goes in the glove box? If so yes.

No its something different goes behind the head unit for extra monitors/video

I will have to look. I'm not sure about that one. But I will check into it.

What is the one that goes in the glove box?

The RCA cables I see are front, rear, sub outs, then u have video out which should be the cable that would run to your rear monitors. The backup cam out.

That's all that is in my RCA package.

Okay, thanks that was what i thought, my SNS 200 is missing that cable time to go to the service dept
anyway you can post a pic of that RCA pack I want something to show the dealership other then the Install manual when I ask for that wire.

It looks like I'm going to be going saturday morning very hectic schedule this week I did print the pics you posted and have everything ready!

Did your SNS 200 come with your ride? Or did you instal it?

got the cable this morning thanks for the pics, thought it was going to be a headache but they handed it over no questions asked they happened to have an extra, my guess was the one for my kit lol

I understand that this post is too old, but any have this pics that I need much for install a camera backup.
